In the third session of KWF’s patients’ talk-series, Maryann talks with Mr. Anand Lal Banerjee and Mr. Kamal Shah on employment and employing persons with CKD. It is imperative for CKD patients to have means of earnings and employment options to stay motivated in life, without which they might easily feel dejected and depressed and might not be able to fight the disease well. Our speakers will elaborate on ways to achieve this.
Mr. Anand Lal Banerjee is a retired DGP from Uttar Pradesh. He is an informed speaker on issues related to kidney disease and dedicated in his support to patients.
Mr. Kamal Shah, founder and director, Guest services, Nephroplus, has been on dialysis for 23 years. He believes that dialysis patients should find a purpose in life in order to achieve quality of life. He will be queried on how he gives employment to CKD patients.
